Rhyming slang

Say a phrase that rhymes with the word you mean, then often drop the rhyming part. Dog's eye is a pie and a Captain Cook is a look.

Barry Crocker

A shocker. A terrible performance or a bad day.

"Had a Barry Crocker."

Butcher's

Sick. Short for butcher's hook, rhyming with crook.

"Nah, he's feeling butcher's."

Butcher's hook

A look. Usually shortened to "a butcher's". In older Australian slang, being "butcher's" also meant being crook (sick).

"Give us a butcher's."

Dog's eye

A meat pie.

"Dog's eye with dead horse."

Hugs and kisses

The missus. Your wife or partner.

Knee.

A goal, mostly in Aussie rules.

Pocket.
